Stories To Tell: Through Our Eyes and Stories To Tell: Through Our Textiles were two exhibitions run in celebration of South Asian Heritage Month. South Asian Heritage Month first began in 2020, and runs from 18th July to 17th August every year. It seeks to commemorate the South Asian cultures and communities of the diaspora, and acknowledge the link between the UK and South Asia. It is something that I have wanted to add to the UAL and Arts SU calendar ever since I first joined UAL as a student in 2022, and have made it my mission to get it on there the moment I was elected into my role. I received funding from UAL to curate two exhibitions, one in the windows of the Typo Cafe in London College of Communication, and one in the windows of the Lethaby Gallery in Central Sain Martins.
